Verify your payment method

Why do I need to verify my payment account?

We need to make sure you're the owner of any deposit and withdrawal methods you use with us. This is something we do in line with our license. You only need to verify each new payment method once.

Don't worry, as your documents will be safe and secure and we won't use them for any other purpose.

When do I need to verify my payment account?
  • When you deposit with a new and unverified payment account.
  • When you ask for a withdrawal to a new and unverified payment account.
Can I perform transactions before the verification process is complete?

Yes, but you can only make deposits. Withdrawals are only available after the verification process is complete.

Our team will check your documents and get in touch if there are any issues.

Otherwise, we'll let you know when you're free to make transactions.

Which documents do I need to send?

Choose your payment method from the list below to know which documents you'll need to send.

Cards: Visa, Mastercard or Maestro
    • A copy of your card(s) statement, no older than three months.
    • Make sure it shows the cardholder's name and only the first 6 and last 4 digits of your card(s) number: 444444******4444. There's no need to include your transaction history.
    • A scanned copy of your card(s). It should only show the first 6 and last 4 digits of your card(s) number.
    • Or, if you're using virtual card(s), send us a copy of the bank statement, associated with your virtual card(s). Include the deposit you made with us in the transaction history.

Direct Bank Transfer and Wire Transfer
    • A clear desktop or mobile screenshot of the summary page of your online banking service. It should show your full name, account details and the URL website link. There's no need to include your transaction history.
    • The documents printed via home banking must show the date and have the bank's website URL link.
    • Alternatively, a bank statement or proof of IBAN in a single official document:
      • Issue date: no older than three months.
      • Full IBAN, which needs to match the one you registered on your account.
      • BIC or SWIFT bank code.
      • Your full name as the bank account holder. We can't accept payments from third parties.
      • Your full address is the same as the one you registered on your account.
      • Bank identification or logo.
      • For proof of IBAN, the document must be stamped and manually signed by the bank.
        All four corners of the document must be visible

NETELLER
    • A clear desktop or mobile screenshot of your NETELLER account's ‘Account Overview’ or ‘Settings’ page. It must show your name, the email address you registered and the URL.

PayPal
    • A legible and clear desktop or mobile screenshot of the 'Account' page when you're logged in to your account. The image must show your name, address, email, and merchant ID if your PayPal has one.
    • Select the cogwheel on the top right next to 'Logout' to access this page. The page's URL must be visible on the screenshot.

Skrill and Skrill Rapid Transfer
    • A desktop or mobile screenshot, legible and clear, of the whole page of the 'Settings - Personal Details' page, when logged into your account. It should show your name, address, email and phone number.
      The page's URL must be visible on the screenshot.

Multibanco

You can send us any of these documents:

    • A screenshot of the summary page of your online banking service together with the transaction details with us.
      It should show your full name, account details and the URL link.
    • A bank statement showing your name, account details, and transactions made with us.
    • A proof of IBAN, together with a transaction detail of the deposit made with us.
    • Proof of payment. This could be either:
      • A Multibanco receipt and a copy of your bank statement showing the transaction details.
      • An official document from the bank showing the transaction details.
    • As an alternative, if you used a virtual card to pay for your Multibanco deposit, send us a copy of the statement associated with that card. It must show the deposit you made to us.
    • Our transactions can appear in your bank transaction descriptor as:
      • REEL, Ltd
      • HiPay
      • WorldPay

Apple Pay
    • A clear desktop or mobile screenshot that shows the card you used to deposit. Alternatively, you can send us a photo of the front of the card you use with your Apple Pay.
    • For a virtual card, a screenshot shows only the card's first 6 and last 4 digits. For example, 444444******4444. It should also have your name, issue date and expiration date.

    • A screenshot of your 'Personal Details' section within the 'Profile' menu showing your name, date of birth, address, email and phone number.
    • If you're using a Mastercard issued by MuchBetter, we will also need a copy of that Mastercard, only showing the first 6 and last 4 digits of your card number.

    • A legible and clear mobile screenshot showing your details and phone number.
    • From the MBWAY homepage, select "Mais" in the bottom-right corner. The following page is the one containing your details: name, phone number and email.

So that we can accept your document, make sure that:

    • The account and transaction details are clear.
    • Any online banking screenshots have the URL or link visible.
    • Proof of IBAN is stamped and signed by the bank.
    • The document is not blurred or cropped.
    • All four corners of the document must be visible.
    • It's not a photocopy.
