Using your PokerStars account to buy into live events

By using your user account to buy into the live event, you agree to this:

• We can't refund you once the tournament starts.
• You can only unregister before the tournament starts. To do so, reach out to live@pokerstarslive.com at least 48 hours before the tournament starts. You can also speak to our Event Management team onsite before the tournament.
• We'll consider you a PokerStars player during the event for reporting purposes. We may ask you to wear our logo during the tournament.
• You're subject to a maximum cash payout of double the buy-in. We'll credit the remaining winnings to your PokerStars account.

Getting a participation receipt

We can give you event participation receipts if you play at the European Poker Tour (EPT). This is regardless of how you bought in.

We can help you with other sponsored events if you bought in or qualified using your PokerStars account.

In any case, we can only give you receipts for events from the past five years. Due to data protection, we can't store information older than that.

If you bought in with the Casino or tournament organizers, please get in touch with them directly for the receipts.
