What is PSLive?

PSLive is our in‑house tournament management and registration system used for most PokerStars live events.

It allows players to:

• register for live tournaments
• manage their event participation
• check event information

All of these features are available through a player's PSLive account and the PokerStars LIVE app.

 

How do I open a PSLive account?

You can create a PSLive account either:

• online through the PokerStars LIVE app
• onsite at the event venue

Both methods require verification of your identity.

 

How do I open a PSLive account online?

To create a PSLive account online, download the PokerStars LIVE app and follow the in-app instructions.

Steps:

1. Download the PokerStars LIVE app from the LIVE website or from the app stores.
2. Open your profile and follow the step-by-step instructions to submit your personal details.
3. Upload a valid government-issued photo ID for verification.
4. After verification, a personal QR code will be generated for your live event registrations.

How do I open a PSLive account onsite?

You can also create a PSLive account onsite at the event venue.

Steps:

1. Go to the sign-up desk at the event venue.
2. The Events staff will take a quick webcam photo.
3. Provide your personal details, including your email address and phone number.
4. Present a valid government-issued photo ID for verification.

If verification is successful, your account will be finalized onsite, and a QR code will be issued for your live event registrations.

 

How do I follow PokerStars live events?

You can follow PokerStars live events and access PSLive features through the PokerStars LIVE app.

Steps:

1. Download the PokerStars LIVE app from the LIVE website or from the app stores.
2. Create a PSLive account to access live event information and tournament registration features.

 

How do I register for a live tournament onsite?

To register for most of our live events onsite, you need a verified PSLive account.

Steps:

1. Create and verify your PSLive account.
2. Open the PokerStars LIVE app to access your personal QR code.
3. Register for a live tournament onsite by scanning your QR code.

Is my PSLive account linked to my PokerStars account?

No. Your PSLive account is used only for live events.

It is not connected to your PokerStars account.

 

Can I own more than one PSLive account?

No. Each person can hold only one PSLive account.

 

How are my winnings handled through my PSLive account?

Any winnings from our live events are recorded in your PSLive profile.

To collect your winnings:

1. Visit the Payout desk and arrange the payout with the Events staff.
2. Collect your winnings from the venue cashier.

 

What are my payout options for any winnings from live events?

Available payout methods depend on the host casino's rules and available payment methods.

Common payout options include:

• cash
• bank transfer
• transfer to a player's PokerStars account (regional restrictions may apply)

 

Can I transfer my PSLive account or QR code to someone else?

No. PSLive accounts and QR codes cannot be transferred to another person.

Players are responsible for keeping their account secure and ensuring that no one else uses their QR code.

 

How can I close my PSLive account?

You can request to close your PSLive account by contacting:

live@pokerstarslive.com

Alternatively, you can stop using the account. Unused accounts may be automatically deactivated after a period of inactivity.

You can also delete the PokerStars LIVE app from your phone if you no longer wish to access the account.

 

What happens with closed PSLive accounts and the data stored in them?

Closed PSLive accounts remain in our system for two more years, due to our data retention policies.

 

Can a closed PSLive account be reopened?

Yes. Because closed PSLive accounts remain in the system for two years, they can be reopened during that period.

Can I also delete my PSLive account?

The PokerStars LIVE app includes an option to delete your PSLive account. However, whether deletion is possible depends on how the account has been used.

• Accounts that have never been used for tournament registration can be deleted.
• Accounts that have been used for tournament registration cannot be deleted and can only be closed.

 

How does the 'Delete your PSLive account' option in the PokerStars LIVE app work?

If you select 'Delete your PSLive account' in the PokerStars LIVE app, an email request will be sent to the Support team.

The request will be processed depending on your account status.

Only unused PSLive accounts can be fully deleted.
